September 2009: Battersea Arts Centre Scratch Festival

This piece began a process that challenged an audience on how they view and interpret democratic values.

We wanted to explore how an audience can immediately participate in such a simplistic democratic system as well as asking what our democratic ideals where, regarding who is entitled to vote, how this is decided and by whom?

The piece also touched upon the often disproportional relationship between votes and seats in an election that was always going to have one winner.
